Cycling is fun
In the heart of the Palatinate mountains, the Pfälzer Bergland, at a total length of 40 km, you explore the lower Glan valley on bicycle trolleys. The track is a closed down railway from Altenglan near Kusel via Lauterecken to Staudernheim on the Nahe.

Food and drink
Numerous restaurants offer various dishes of the region, making your excursion unforgettable even in this respect.

Sightseeing, taking a rest, having a picnic
At fixed stops (at intervals of approx. 2 km), the trolleys can be taken off the tracks if you wish to explore the surroundings, visit landmarks or have lunch.

Information

How does it work?
ll day long, all trolleys travel in one direction. You may choose between a distance of 20 or 40 km. The trolleys start at Lauterecken or with daily alternation at Altenglan or Staudernheim. Public busses along the route give you a ride back

Where to start?
On even days, the trolleys depart from Staudernheim in the direction of Altenglan. Starting points are Staudernheim or Lauterecken.

Open
From March to October, the trolleys run all day.
